A native Californian, Jim grew up in Orange County and attended the University of Southern California where he was a member of three NCAA championship tennis teams. He completed two years’ tour of duty in Vietnam in 1970. Before joining the Charles Dunn Company in 1983, Jim was the Head Professional at the Los Angeles Tennis Club for 13 years.
Among Jim’s clients are Prudential Insurance Company of North America, Farmer John Meats, Kirk Paper Company, Miller Brewing Company, Brinks, Union Pacific Railroad, Wella Sebastian International, Emery Worldwide, and Fremont Properties. Jim also works very closely with several substantial individuals who own and manage Industrial Real Estate as their sole business.
Jim Hobson joined Delphi Business Properties, Inc. in April 1997. A specialist in Industrial Investments, Industrial Sales and Leases, Jim has closed over $75,000,000.00 in industrial transactions. Jim was with the Charles Dunn Company for 14 years prior to moving to Delphi Business Properties, Inc. and left the Charles Dunn Company as the Senior Managing Director Industrial Division. During his 22 years in Industrial Real Estate, Jim was nine times Industrial Broker of the year and nineteen times a member of the Elite Sales Club.
Jim resides in Westlake Village with his wife Sandra. He enjoys tennis and golf and is an Honorary Member and former Director of the Los Angeles Tennis Club and a Member and former Director of the North Ranch Country Club.
